FIRM HISTORY

F.H. Paschen, S.N. Nielsen & Associates LLC (F.H. Paschen) has operated as a General Contractor and Construction Manager for over 100 years. Within our firm, the areas of expertise are arranged into three divisions: Civil, Building, and Job Order Contracting (JOC). In the Washington, DC Metropolitan area we have become the fastest growing JOC contractor having worked on contracts for Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority, Loudoun County, Arlington County, Alexandria City Public Schools, among others. At F.H. Paschen, we pride ourselves on personalized service, building one-on-one client relationships based on confidence and trust. We our ENR's 135th - Top 400 Contractors in the US, which we believe is a testament to the strength of those relationships.

Diversity at F.H. Paschen is taken very seriously. All our employees who have responsibilities that include MBE/WBE/DBE and EEO compliance monitoring and implementation, are required to participate in annual, extensive in-house MBE/WBE/DBE and EEO training.

Client Needs:
One of F.H. Paschen’s strengths is our flexibility and willingness to adapt to our clients’ needs and market trends. In the past two years we have put in place over $250 million of alternative delivery work. We have executed numerous Guaranteed Maximum Pricing contracts as well as entered into an Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) agreement with one of our clients. Some of our Alternative Delivery achievements are the award-winning design-build charter schools for the United Neighborhood Organization, station renovation projects for the Chicago Transit Authority, and CMR projects for American Airlines.
