The Whiting -Turner Contracting Company held its quarterly Baltimore region “Get Down to Business” on Thursday, June 14th at its renovated headquarters in Towson, Maryland. About two hundred or more minority and women owned building trade and suppliers attended and got a glimpse of about thirty or so projects the company is planning to be working on.
“The A-Z in projects are mixed between federal, state and local government owners and many with 100% private ownership, but they all have one common denominator, the willingness of Whiting- Turner to be economically inclusive”, said Wayne R. Frazier. “Whiting -Turner’s been hosting these events for so long now that I have forgotten when it started, and I can’t recall any other super prime like them doing anything like this. As they say around the way, you go Whiting- Turner!”
