Project Description:
The Progressive Design-Build Team (PDB) team of PC Construction, Stantec, and Hazen has been selected to design and construct WSSC’s $262 million Water Resource Recovery Facility (WRRF) Bio-Energy Project in Prince George’s County, Maryland. The new Bio-Energy project will accept biosolids from the Piscataway WRRF and four remote WRRFs, and will produce Class A biosolids, biogas and electricity. This phase is anticipated to start April 2020 and be operational by spring of 2024. On behalf of the PDB team, PC Construction is currently soliciting interest for the Bio-Energy Phase.
