Project Description:
The project consists of the construction of a new 94,892 SF, two-story elementary school building and related sitework and outbuildings. The Area of Work includes all the new structures and associated sitework. The new school building will include classroom spaces, a cafeteria, gymnasium, resource and storage spaces, administration offices, and rooms to support building operations. The second-floor features two exterior learning terraces. Courtyards open to the exterior of the building are included on the first floor. Sitework includes but is not limited to a bus parking lot, car parking lot/student drop-off loops, loading area, new sidewalks, fencing, and stormwater drainage facilities. Complete sediment and erosion control protection must be provided throughout construction as indicated in the construction documents and required by Charles County department of Inspection Services. Refer to civil drawings for complete scope of sitework.
The project is State-Funded and is subject to Prevailing Wages.
This project includes overall MBE goal of 21% with sub-goals of 8% African American and 11% Woman-Owned
