The Region’s Top Company’s Honored at 2022 Spring Breakfast

They deserve recognition for their good work and great characters as stewards for inclusion.

MWMCA's-19th Annual Spring Breakfast and Business Showcase Expo at Martin's West catering hall on Friday, May 6, 2022, was the anticipated event for minority and women owned businesses thus far this spring. The attendees eagerly arrived traveling from as far as Virginia, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Illinois, Missouri, and Washington DC. The fright of torrential rains did not dampen the enthusiasm as eighty-two prime corporate and government exhibitors greeted hundreds of deserving minority and women small businesses seeking new opportunities for 2022. The exhibit hall was packed with new opportunities, from building new roads, bridges, tunnels, vertical office and affordable housing, to mixed use and industrial space. The major public water and energy utilities came with all sorts of new opportunities as did the health care concerns.

“The morning was capped off when sixteen illustrious and high achieving CEO's, presidents, and executive leaders were honored for their outstanding work towards achieving social economic engineering inclusion. Those corporate and government heroes represent what's best about USA’s diversity and inclusion. Md. Washington Minority Companies Association (MWMCA) is proud to present the 2022 slate of honorees. They deserve recognition for their good work and great characters as stewards for inclusion”, said Wayne R. Frazier, Sr, president of MWMCA.
