Clark Water, LLC is soliciting proposals from MBE/ESB and disadvantaged subcontractors and suppliers for the City of Richmond:
This contract covers the mechanical, electrical, and structural rehabilitation of Filter Plants 1 and 2. Key tasks include replacing filter valves, electric actuators, underdrains, and media for 22 filters, alongside new waste piping and effluent flow meters. Electrical upgrades require replacing all control and power wiring, relocating basement electrical equipment to a new climate-controlled room, and installing new VFDs and UPS units. Structural work includes blasting and painting gallery piping, replacing pipe supports, repairing filter decks and roofs, and installing an aluminum catwalk. The contractor must also reconfigure the polymer and aluminum sulfate feed systems and maintain all existing facilities in continuous service during construction.
Scopes of work include, but are not limited to:
Selective Demolition, Concrete, Concrete Rehab, Metals, Thermal and Moisture Protection, Finishes, Plumbing, HVAC, Process Piping, Process Equipment, Electrical, and Instrumentation and Controls.
