I am currently Vice President and Small Business Lender for First National Bank’s MD, VA, DC region. I have been with First National Bank for over 5 years. I have over 21 years of professional experience in small business lending
 
2. What is your role with the bank?
I focus on serving business owners and providing small business lending expertise to help them support a significant increase of their cash flow and optimization of their business’ operating cycles.
I also strive to offer goal driven solutions to business owners that are tailored to a client’s lending needs and objectives by utilizing a full spectrum of financial products and strategies. I have been helping clients to satisfy their business needs with a holistic approach, while forming strong business lending relationships. I specialize in small business lending such as commercial real estate loans: owner occupied, investment real estate non owner occupied, equipment finance and/or trucks up to 1 Million, business line of credits $500000 or more for working capital and as a security for surety bonds as well as SBA loans 503, 505 over $350000.

Execubanc Information Reporting System
First National Bank’s ExecuBanc Information Reporting System is a real-time online cash management system will empower the company’s authorized users with a full menu of services including the following:
Sign-on only once for access to all your First National Bank accounts and services
View current and previous day detailed balance information and transactional details. 
Receive incoming wire alerts with detailed sender information. 
Secure access times - platform available between 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
View a rolling 12-month period of account statements. 
Obtain current day reporting of all electronic transactions i.e., wire and ACH settlements. 
Initiate real-time fund transfers between internal accounts until 8:00 PM EST.
Initiate real-time stop payments.
Originate ACH payments for direct deposit of payroll, federal and state tax payments, and general disbursements.
Receive eStatements and eNotices (NSF and return deposit items) 
Designation of a primary administrator; manage subsequent user access controls and entitlements.

This service allows you to deposit checks into your FNB checking account from the convenience of your office.  It eliminates the need to travel to a branch to make non-monetary deposits and provides IMMEDIATE AVAILABILITY on check deposits until 8:00pm. You will need to be enrolled in Execubanc for this Service. Features of this robust service include:
Checks can be credited to multiple checking accounts.  
Multiple users can be created with access only to the accounts necessary
Images of deposited items are available online for 45 days
CD Rom is available with images of electronic deposited items
Eliminate encoding errors by submitting a file that must proof back to your anticipated total.
Our sophisticated imagers read MICR line and dollar amount, as well as check for a payee, date and signature.
7. Should one not measure up to First National Bank’s credit standards and be denied a loan request, will the opportunity end there or what recommendations could you offer?
As your banker and trusted advisor in lending, it’s my job and responsibility to work with my clients/prospects as part of an overall relationship very diligently in the event the loan is not approved to get it done in the near future. No, is not forever it means not yet.
 
8. Some say women make better bankers because they care and deal with detail better than men; what are your thoughts on this?
As a woman, I feel it’s all about the client. I am passionate about what I do and I have proven my success in guiding clients to make sound financial decisions and obtaining lending in the timely matter. I do pay attention to my clients with extreme detail. My follow up is spot on and nothing can slip thru the cracks. The goal is to help clients/prospects with the full banking relationship and provide all the options/solutions to be financially successful. I believe in simplicity and making banking easier.
