MWMCA MINORITY OUTREACH FAIR BRINGS SMALL, MINORITY-OWNED BUSINESSES TO LIVE! CASINO & HOTEL MARYLAND FOR NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES

 

The Biannual Event emphasizes Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland’s commitment to its minority vendor partners throughout the region

 

Hanover, MD (July 18, 2024) – The Cordish Companies’ Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland today partnered with the Md. Washington Minority Companies Association (MWMCA) once again to host a Minority Outreach Fair. The event brought together small, minority- and women-owned businesses to assist them in identifying work and/or contractual opportunities with top prime companies throughout region. The event aims to promote networking, locate small business resources, and foster new partnerships.
“It is always a priority of the MWMCA to support and provide valuable opportunities to local minority- and women-owned businesses in Maryland,” shared Wayne Frazier, President of the MWMCA. “This Minority Outreach Fair is just one initiative to level the playing field and provide hardworking business-owners with access to impactful contract opportunities. Year after year, we partner with The Cordish Companies and Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland for this event and the partnership continues to grow stronger due to our shared commitment to this mission.”
This Minority Outreach Fair took place at the Event Center at Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland on Thursday, July 18, from 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM. Attendees met and networked with businesses including Constellation, Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland, Morgan State University, M&T Bank, The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company, Towson University, University of Maryland College Park, and more.
