Wande Leintu, Deputy VP of Supplier Diversity Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA)

The DMV region is blessed to possess so many titans for economic inclusion and supplier diversity from government, quasi-government, and private corporations. Md. Washington Minority Companies Association (MWMCA) is proud to highlight and recognize these leaders by featuring them in our weekly e-newsletter. In this week’s issue, we are proud to bring forth Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority’s (MWAA) Deputy Vice President of Supplier Diversity, Wande Leintu.

A native of Mali, Africa, Wande earned her MBA from Howard University in Washington, D.C. with a focus in finance and supply chain management and a bachelor’s degree in International Business. In her role at MWAA, she is responsible for managing Reagan National and Dulles International airports’ Supplier Diversity department to ensure the maximum utilization of small business concerns in MWAA contracting opportunities while enabling economic impact.

“Wande has a passion for economic inclusion which is evident by her willingness to constantly seek higher ground in opportunities for diverse suppliers. When she proudly pursues maximum inclusion, she means it, which is a welcome relief because she is not afraid to include all in MWAA’s spending,” said Wayne Frazier, President of MWMCA.

Please enjoy the interview.
