MEDCO has contracted with Gilbane Building Company to complete the abatement and demolition of the existing dormitory and the construction of a new 185,000 SF, 662-bed tower. Exterior improvements include incorporating a pedestrian bridge over the Herring Run tributary and woodland area, a green roof, sitework, hardscapes, and a bioretention pond. Interior spaces include one hundred eighty-two (182) dorm units, lounges, fitness rooms, a 10,000 SF dining facility, an Academic Event Professional (AEP)/forum/meeting space, building management and wellness suites.
