Project Description:
Phase 5A: Construct a new 10,150 Sf, 3-story substation building housing 4 sets of gear (gear is pre-purchased by Owner for storage and delivery to jobsite).
Run new feeders through mostly existing pathways throughout the UMB campus tying into existing manholes. Run new fiber optic cabling to tie into campus fire alarm.
Sitework: Underground stormwater management pre-treatment storage system,
storm utilities; asphalt, concrete, brick and unit paving; landscaping; concrete encased ductbank; ornamental fencing
Structure: Steel-framed substation and load-bearing CMU; spread/wall footings
Facade: Brick and cast stone cladding with CMU back-up; windows; OH sectional doors; louvers
Roof: SBS modified bit at substation with gutters and downspouts
Phase 5B: Ductbank work at Pratt Street for BGE primary feeders; Bid Alternate for empty ductbank at Fayette Street.
