Project Description:

Construction of a new facility for MD State Police Special Ops Div. & MD State Fire Marshal Bomb Squad. The building is approx. 21,000sf, one and twostory building with a metal frame. It will be attached by a pedestrian passage to the existing Tact. Services garage. The work includes construction of an explosives storage area, to be completed after that portion of the site is vacated by construction activities.

The MBE Goal is 30% & VSBE GOAL IS 5%. This project is subject to prevailing wage rates. Building trades, sitework & utility contractors are needed.

Bid prices shall be held for a period of 120days following bid opening, The work shall be completed within 486 calendar days from the start date of the contract. If the work is not completed within the time period specified, $500 per calendar day liquidated damages will be assessed as specified in the “General Conditions.”
