8th ANNUAL Black History Month Celebration 2021
In honor of Black History Month, The Cordish Companies, Live! Casino & Hotel and the Md. Washington Minority Companies Association (MWMCA) will host its 8th Annual Black History Heroes Ceremony with a month-long virtual event. The celebration will recognize 10 Maryland civic leaders who have made significant positive contributions to their communities along with the Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad Visitor Center and State Park.
“While our commitments to safety and responsibility mean we cannot gather in person to celebrate these incredible leaders, nothing will stop us from recognizing the meaningful impact they have every single day on our communities in Maryland,” said Anthony Faranca, General Manager, Live! Casino & Hotel.
